Day On The Water
The Day On the Water
The fishing day is 8 am to approximately 3: 30 to 4 pm with a lunch break around noon.
Ephriam’s boat takes 2 anglers. For larger groups, Ephriam can arrange for fully qualified guides and boats.
Most of your fishing will be done in the South Bight channel and Linder Creek. These areas are an extremely attractive environment for bonefish with sheltered, shallow waters that are teeming with their favourite foods.
You will reach your first spot in about 10 to 20 minutes after departing the dock located at the Lisbon Creek Settlement.
Ephriam will choose the day’s fishing spots based on tides, weather and yesterday’s hot spots.
Ephriam will maneuver the boat to give you the best chance for a successful cast. From his platform he can see the schools of fish long before you are aware of their presence. Ephriam will then tell you the direction and distance to give you the best chance to hook that big bonefish.
In areas too shallow to fish from the boat you will wade. Ephriam will stay with you to put you in position for the best chance to hook a fish.
Ephriam is always happy to provide advice when asked. Whether you are an experienced angler or new to fly fishing, or to bone fishing, Ephriam’s skillful instruction will help you quickly achieve success!
